The checker needs JavaScript to read the time. If it's off, use the table below: aim to enquire by 10am Sydney time for property-secured funding and 11am for a smaller unsecured amount.

About 60 seconds. No credit check when you first enquire.

    How the cut-off checker works

Same-day business funding is a race against a handful of afternoon deadlines. The enquiry has to be in early enough for a specialist to call you, understand the need and choose a lender. Documents have to arrive while there's still time to check them. Everyone who signs has to sign. And then the money has to actually move, through a settlement or a payment release, before the people and systems doing that work stop for the day.

The checker takes your state, reads the time there, converts it to Sydney time and measures it against the planning targets we use for two kinds of same-day file: a smaller unsecured amount for a trading business, and a property-secured amount between $20k and $250k. It then checks whether today is a business day in your state and in New South Wales, and looks at what you've ticked as ready. Out comes a go, a tight, or a no-go, with each milestone shown in your local time.

Why Sydney time runs the same-day race

The Reserve Bank's settlement system, RITS, operates from 7:30am to 10pm AEST or AEDT on business days, and it closes on weekends and on a set list of public holidays observed in NSW and Victoria. Fast NPP payments settle around the clock, but a loan still has to be approved, signed and released by people working a normal eastern-states day first. That's why a Perth owner has an easy morning and a Brisbane owner loses an hour of afternoon from October to April.

Daylight saving in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT starts at 2am on Sunday 4 October 2026 and ends at 3am on Sunday 4 April 2027. Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory don't change their clocks, so their gap to Sydney grows by an hour over summer. The checker handles that automatically.

What a "go" does and doesn't mean

A go means the clock and your readiness give same day a genuine chance. It isn't an approval. A lender still assesses the business, the security and the purpose, and some files turn up questions that take longer to answer. A no-go isn't a decline either: it usually just means the realistic target has moved to tomorrow morning, and the best thing you can do is send the enquiry now so it's first in line.

If your amount is over $250k with property security, same day isn't the realistic promise. Up to $5m is possible within 24–48 hours when the paperwork is ready, and the checker will show you how to start that clock today. Ready to see if today is still on?

The enquiry takes about a minute. A real person reads it, calls you, and tells you straight whether same day is realistic for your situation. Your details stay with one team, and answering accurately gets you the right answer on the first call.

    No credit check to enquire

Finding out what's possible today leaves your credit file untouched. A credit check only comes up once you choose to proceed.

Not sprayed to a crowd of lenders

Your enquiry isn't auctioned off or blasted around. One team works out the right match, so your phone doesn't light up with strangers.

A real person on the clock with you

A lending specialist reads your enquiry and calls. Answer the form accurately and they can tell you straight away whether today is realistic.

    Cut-off checker questions

Why does the checker convert everything to Sydney time?

Most of the lenders, settlement teams and payment operations that make same-day funding happen work on eastern time, and the Reserve Bank's settlement system runs on AEST or AEDT. So the practical deadlines are Sydney deadlines. The checker shows them in your local time so you don't have to do the maths.

Are the cut-off times in the checker official?

No. They're planning targets we use to judge whether same day is realistic: roughly 10am Sydney time for a property-secured enquiry and 11am for a smaller unsecured one, with signing and settlement in the early-to-mid afternoon. Every lender and file is different, so treat them as a guide, not a promise.

Does the checker know about public holidays?

Yes, for whole-of-state public holidays from October 2026 to the end of 2027, taken from the Fair Work Ombudsman's lists. It checks your state and New South Wales, because a Sydney holiday also closes most same-day processing. Regional show days and local holidays aren't included, so check those yourself.

What if the checker says no-go?

It means today is unlikely, not that you can't be funded. Enquire anyway so a specialist can start on your file, then aim for the next business morning. For larger property-secured amounts, up to $5m is possible within 24–48 hours when the paperwork is ready.

Does using the checker affect my credit file?

No. The checker runs entirely in your browser and doesn't collect anything. Even when you enquire, there's no credit check at that first step.

Why do the ticks matter so much?

Time is only half of it. A file with every signer available, ID to hand and statements ready can move in hours; a file waiting on a co-owner who's on a plane can't, however early it starts. The ticks tell the checker which of those files you have.
