How it works
How a same-day business loan runs, hour by hour
Seven steps from enquiry to money moving. The earlier the first one happens, the more room there is for the rest.
Every same-day file runs the same course. The times below are our planning targets on Sydney time; our cut-off checker converts them to your state. They're a guide, not a guarantee, and they assume today is a business day in your state and in NSW.
- 1
Any time — ideally before 10am Sydney: your 60-second enquiry
Tell us the amount, what it's for, when it's due, your state and whether property is involved. There's no credit check at this step.
- 2
Soon after: a real person calls
A lending specialist reads your enquiry and rings you. They'll ask the questions that decide the timeline: who needs to sign, what's owed on any property, and any ATO debt or credit history to be aware of.
- 3
On that call: an honest answer on timing
Same day, next morning or 24–48 hours. If same day is realistic, you'll hear exactly what needs to happen, and by when, in your local time.
- 4
Late morning: documents in one go
ID, bank statements, the invoice you're paying and, for secured loans, property details. Sending them together saves hours.
- 5
Midday: lender checks and approval
Identity, statements and, for property-secured loans, title and value. Conditions are explained so you can clear them in parallel.
- 6
Early afternoon: everyone signs
Borrowers, guarantors and every property owner sign, usually electronically. Read the documents and the total cost first.
- 7
By mid-afternoon: money moves
The lender releases funds or settles the loan, paid to your account or straight to the supplier, workshop or ATO.
What decides whether it all happens today
Not typing speed, and usually not the lending decision. It's readiness: whether documents turn up together, whether every signer is available, and whether anything unexpected surfaces late. Our same-day checklist covers every item, and the readiness check takes two minutes.
What can fund today
Smaller unsecured amounts for trading businesses, and property-secured amounts from $20k to $250k, are the realistic same-day lanes. Larger property-secured amounts, up to $5m, are possible within 24–48 hours. See what can realistically fund same day.
Common questions
How long does the enquiry take?
About 60 seconds. It asks for the essentials only, and you can send it before business hours so it's waiting when the day starts.
Will enquiring affect my credit file?
No. There's no credit check when you enquire. A credit check is only discussed once you've chosen to go ahead with a specific option.
Who will call me?
A lending specialist from our team, not a string of lenders or brokers. We don't spray your details around.
What if same day isn't realistic?
We'll tell you on the first call and suggest the fastest honest alternative: first thing the next business morning for most files, or 24–48 hours for larger property-secured amounts up to $5m.
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. You can ask questions, read the documents and walk away at any point before signing.
Why does filling in the form accurately matter so much?
The form is how we pick the right lender and the right timeline. An accurate amount, deadline, state and property detail means the first match is the right one, which is what makes same day possible.
